wow, I really let my shit slip while stressing for my audition… I have two zero’s, two twenties, and a 30 in some classes. oops. Luckily, it’s the beginning of a grading period, so they’ll all go back up once I start doing stuff again. Today I found out that in my AP English class’s Hamlet projects, in which we are supposed to take the story of Hamlet and retell it in 7 minutes with another story thrown in, that a group doing a ‘Mean Girls Hamlet’ isn’t allowed to say ‘too gay to function’ - not because it’s seen as derogatory, but because the district doesn’t want homosexuality...
